CLEVELAND, February 17 — The Teamsters Disaster Relief Fund is offering assistance to members living in Missouri after severe storms, tornadoes, straight-line winds and flooding caused major damage to homes and property from December 23, 2015 through January 9, 2016.
Available from the BLET website are Teamster “Disaster Relief Alert Notices” and “Request for Help” forms. If you live in the affected area and experienced a loss due to this FEMA-declared major disaster, please download and submit the forms. For questions, contact the Teamsters Disaster Relief Fund office at (202) 624-8971.
Members living in the following Missouri counties are eligible to apply: Barry, Barton, Camden, Cape Girardeau, Cole, Crawford, Franklin, Gasconade, Greene, Hickory, Jasper, Jefferson, Laclede, Lawrence, Lincoln, Maries, McDonald, Morgan, Newton, Osage, Phelps, Polk, Pulaski, Saint Louis, Scott, St. Charles, St. Francis, Ste. Genevieve, Stone, Taney, Texas, Webster and Wright.

Be sure to include all requested documentation. The deadline for application is March 31, 2016.
HELP SPREAD THE WORD
To help increase awareness of this valuable benefit, members who live and work in the affected areas are asked to print and post these Disaster Relief Notices at their places of work. Previous notices are archived on the BLET National Division’s website, http://www.ble-t.org/disaster.
