Missouri Avenue to close May 1
The Illinois Department of Transportation announces that weather permitting, Missouri Avenue between Logan Street and West Pontoon Road in Granite City will be closed starting at 6 p.m. Monday, May 1, through 7 p.m. Thursday May 4.
The road closure is necessary to allow the Norfolk Southern Railway to rehabilitate their crossing. A marked detour will be in place to safely guide motorists around the closure.
