Illinois Transportation Secretary Randy Blankenhorn announced that the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is asking the public to participate in meetings being held throughout the state to help develop the upcoming Fiscal Year 2017-2022 Multi-Year Program (MYP).

The MYP is a proposed highway improvement program for statewide transportation investment, based on current estimates of local, state and federal funding. The current FY 2016-2021 MYP reflects approximately $8.385 billion in planned highway projects.
Meeting attendees can submit written comments on the development of the proposed MYP and IDOT’s planning procedures. Staff from IDOT will be available to answer any questions.
